Movers in Roseville, MN

Roseville sits dead center between the two downtowns, an inner-ring Ramsey County suburb of about 36,000 wrapped around Rosedale Center and the Snelling and Highway 36 crossroads. That middle-of-everything spot is exactly why the Fisher family knows these streets so well: a Roseville job is a short hop from our St. Paul warehouse, and our crew works the area week after week. We price the whole move as one flat written rate up front, so there is no meter running while we carry your china hutch down the front steps.

Road Access and Timing

Highway 36 runs along the north edge of Roseville and Snelling Avenue splits it down the middle, with I-35W on the west and Lexington Parkway feeding the interior. Our crew reaches most Roseville homes off Snelling or County Road B, and we plan loads around the Rosedale shopping crush and the Highway 36 and Snelling backups that stack up at rush hour. A mid-morning start usually keeps the truck out of the worst of it.

For long-distance departures: Roseville sits minutes from I-35W and Highway 36, which feed straight onto I-94 and the interstate lanes toward Chicago, Milwaukee, and Fargo. We build that quick highway access into every cross-state estimate, and the same crew that loads here drives the whole way.

What Makes Roseville Moves Different

Roseville runs from snug postwar bungalows to updated townhomes near the highway, so no two jobs match. Common requests our Roseville customers bring us include:

  1. Upright and baby grand pianos carried out of older bungalows with tight doorways (about $300 to $470 upright, $540 to $840 baby grand)
  2. Heavy basement gear from the split-levels: gun safes, treadmills, and chest freezers that need rigging straps and a four-person crew
  3. Winter moves where we salt the walk, lay floor runners against slush, and pad furniture against sub-zero cold
  4. Condo and apartment loads near Rosedale that need a reserved freight elevator and a building COI on file
  5. Downsizing seniors who want part of the household held in our heated warehouse while a new place is sorted out

Because the school calendar and lease cycle set the pace, local moves cluster hard into June, July, and early August. Book in spring to lock your date and crew size before peak fills, and ask about heated, climate-controlled storage at roughly $90 to $250 a month if your closing slides.

Community Between the Cities

New residents get the lakes at Owasso and Josephine, the trails and beach at Central Park, the Harriet Alexander Nature Center, the shops at Rosedale, and a location that puts both downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis fifteen minutes away. With us your move is the crew’s top priority, flat-rate and handled by the Fisher family who have worked these inner-ring streets for years.

Fisher Transfer in St. Paul was a pleasure to work with. They communicated well and the moving guys....WOW! They were fast, careful, professional and fun to be with. My move was supposed to take 2 days because of the travel time, but they wanted to do it all in the same day. So I got to sleep in my own bed that night. I can't say enough good about them.

There were a few hiccups (like having to buy their boxes at a surplus because some of our boxes broke or weren’t packed sufficiently). The best part, in my opinion, were the guys moving everything. Tony, in particular, was especially kind and helpful. I have an issue that makes walking very difficult at times, and he assisted me every time I needed help. It was heartwarming and much appreciated and he was a bright spot in a stressful situation.
